How we made travelling alone at night safer for women.
Travelling home alone is becoming increasingly more dangerous for women. We are all familiar with the phrase ‘Text me when you’re home’, but most of the time we forget to. We created peace of mind by allowing users to not only live share their journey with a friend, but to also send automated notifications on the progression of their trip before receiving the final ‘Home Now’ notification.

‘HomeNow’ will appear as a subsection within the FreeNow app which will give users the option to share their journey home whether it be by foot, by bus or by a FreeNow taxi.
We want people to encourage their pals to ‘HomeNow me’ when they are leaving a gathering. Their friends will be live updated when they leave the taxi and begin walking or get another form of public transport.
