Shock Wrapped
How we shocked IKEA customers into seeing the cruel consequences of sedentary living.
We were tasked with encouraging desk workers to spend less time sitting for the sake of their cardiovascular health. We found that Irish society is reactive instead of proactive when it comes to treating health conditions. We teamed up with IKEA to ‘shock wrap’ their office seating items so that customers can be aware of the risks involved with sedentary living before the item has even been set up. We also incorporated their infamous wordless instruction manual character to demonstrate ways of combatting the risks as a desk based worker.
