How we converted users’ desire to travel into an incentive to learn.

Duolingo users are slowly falling out of the habit of doing their daily language lesson due to life commitments or post covid routine changes. How do we motivate people to do their daily lesson? After two years of isolating at home, our audience is ready to explore the world again. We want to reward people for their commitment to learning by providing them with discounts on Aer Lingus flights to the country that speaks their newly learned language. Once targets are reached on the Duolingo app, users will receive unique discount codes to redeem their AerClub points on AerLingus.com.
